Leaving Cyprus - must sell my mighty African Lion from the Kalahari Desert |
With lots of regrets I must part with my lion, a real masterpiece and a true piece of art. My lion was known all over Africa to be the real and unchallenged king of the Kalahari Desert. He was ordered to be shot by the government of Botswana in 1980, was perfectly mounted by the most famous taxidermist of the time and exhibited as a trophy in the Carlton Center in Johannesburg, drawing thousands of visitors. |
The Lion was flown to Paris and made headlines in the French press when he traveled from the airport to my house on an open truck. I have been since, and for the last 34 years, the original and only owner of this marvellous and magnificent lion. Leaving Cyprus, I want to sell my lion to someone who will appreciate him and will display him in his home, office or in a museum. Every time I exhibited him in international shows in Europe, my stand broke the record of visitors. |
My lion is a HUGE African male lion and the overall display is amazing and measures close to 2 meters. He is in an absolutely perfect museum and "collector quality" condition, and he has always been kept in a heated and controlled environment. He would be gorgeous in any home, business and even in a museum setting. It would be very difficult today to even see a lion of this category and maturity in the wild. I would like to add, for animal lovers, that lions are not on the list of endangered species. |
I will accept reasonable offers. My lion can be seen in Nicosia, Cyprus, by appointment only by serious interested parties. phone +357 96854380. (French or English)
